Reports From Assemblies: Sydney

Rev Phillip Duncan

Clothier, evangelist, pentecostal pastor.

[9] Sydney
THE goodness of the Lord is causing us to rejoice in the joy of His presence and the way He is adding to us, according to His own good pleasure.
An elderly man coming in from the country was touched by the Lord and desired to be baptised in water, he has since testified from the time of his immersion the Lord has removed from him the desire for tobacco. Praise the Lord who cleanses and enables one to walk in newness of life.
Another brother from Scotland testified recently in the meetings to the power of God over every other power. Well-known in Glasgow as a leading Spiritualist medium, he sought to be freed from the powers of the demons that possessed him. They tormented him and followed him across the world until he found deliverance in the Sydney Assembly, where the Lord met him, and after a violent struggle the demons left him; now, with a heart on fire for God, he testifies to his intention to serve Him always. "
We were very glad of the fellowship and ministry of Sister Eady and her workers from South India. God has given us an interest in her work for God, and several gladly offered their readiness to fill the need for workers in that place. May God show His plan and purpose for all.
