Close-Ups with the Assemblies: Bundaberg.

[9] Close-Ups with the Assemblies.

Bundaberg (Q.), Pastor L. Barnes.-We are grateful to God for His continued blessing in our midst, and for the physical strength and ability which He gives our Brother and Sister Barnes, thus enabling them to carry on the work for His glory. They are now carrying on a good work in a Tent in East Bundaberg, where the regular attendances average 40, including the children, among whom a good work is being done under the guidance of Sisters Penny and Klotz. Numbers at the Hall are also on the increase, and our services are times of great spiritual blessing and refreshing, especially the Prayer Meetings, where by God's grace a special prayer effort is being made for the salvation of precious souls.

Our picnic was held on May 2nd in the Burnett Bridge Park, about 40 being present. A spiritual season of prayer, praise and testimony was enjoyed, and after lunch games of various kinds were indulged in to the benefit of all. As the sun disappeared in the west, the Doxology was sung and we dispersed to our homes.
