Close-Ups with the Assemblies: Ayr
L. Barnes
[9] Ayr (Pastor L. Barnes).—In loving memory of Sister Mary Womal, well may it be said of this beloved Soldier of the Cross: “I have fought a good fight. I have finished my course. I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me at that day. And not to me only, but unto all them also that love His appearing.”— 2 Tim. 4: 7 and 8. Sister Womal has been in our midst for the past five months. We all came to know her better, understand her ways, and how dear she became to each one. —A sister, a friend, a real ambassador for Christ, ever faithful and ready to do the Master's bidding. What her hands found to do, she did willingly as unto the Lord.
She, too, was always found on time for the service, putting us in mind of Mary in the 20th of John, how she came early to the Sepulchre.
