These Sermons are a selection from those preached at the Abbey during the three years of my connection with its work. They are published chiefly as farewell memorials of past service, which it has been a privilege and a delight to render in that glorious Church, and as tokens of the reverent remembrance of its unequalled and time-honoured solemnity, which will go with me to a land where all, except the work of God, is new.
