The Moderator, the Right Rev. W. J. Grant, B.A., will be in his own pulpit of Randwick on Sunday, 7th March. At 3 p.m. he will conduct the diamond jubilee service of P.L.C.

Iona Community (Australian Section).

On Sunday, 14th March, the Moderator will pay an inter-denominational visit to Burwood Congregational Church in the morning and will preach at Arncliffe in the evening.

Rev. Ernest Johnson, of Coolamon, has been elected as Clerk of the Presbytery of Wagga Wagga in place of Rev. R. Gray, resigned.

Mrs. E. A. Davies, of the manse, Paddington, has broken her right wrist while holidaying in Kangaroo Island, S.A. It is only 13 months ago since Mrs. Davies sustained a double
fracture of the left wrist.

It was erroneously reported that Rev. H. F. Perkins, of Cootamundra. is Interim-Moderator of Murrumburrah-Harden. The actual Interim-Moderator is Rev. F. A. Lackey, of Young.

The Presbytery of Wagga Wagga has given its approval of a proposal to build a Church at Pleasant Hills, within the Henty charge upon a site owned by the Presbyterian Church Trustees. The building is to be erected with the assistance of the Methodist community and its use to be shared by both bodies tinder certain conditions.

Congratulations to Rev. Donald and Mrs. Baird, of Wagga Wagga, on the birth of a fourth little daughter and to the Rev. Alan and Mrs. Hewitt, of Griffith, on the birth of their first daughter who has four brothers to welcome her.
The evening service at Petersham Presbyterian Church will be broadcast on Sunday, 14th March, by 2CH. The preacher will be Rev. S. A. Eastman.

Rev. N. G. Anderson, of Corowa, has been elected as Moderator of Wagga Presbytery which office he takes over immediately after the Assembly. Mr. Anderson is the Presbytery Representative on the Standing Committees.

Mrs. Fleming, widow of Rev. Alex. Fleming, who is soon to leave Australia to join her daughter, Ailie, in Belfast, Northern Ireland, expresses to the Church generally her appreciative thanks for the many tokens and expressions of sympathy with her in her
recent sad bereavement.

Word has been received that on 28th January last, Alice Hope Maclean (Ailie) Fleming, daughter of late Rev. Alexander and Mrs. Fleming, was married in the Cooke Centenary Church Belfast, to William, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Keith, of 64 Knock Eden Park, Rosetta, Belfast. Mrs. Keith sends her affectionate greetings and kind remembrances to all her friends,
especially those on the office staff.

The Moderator-General, the Right Rev. A. C. Grieve, B.A., is proceeding, with Mrs. Grieve, to New Zealand by the
Wahini to represent the Presbyterian Church of Australia at the Centenary Celebrations of the Presbyterian Church of New Zealand, which will be held at Dunedin from 18th to 23rd March. Professor John Baillie, representing the Church of Scotland,
will also travel by the Wahini.

The Diamond Jubilee Celebrations of the Presbyterian Ladies' College, Croydon, will commence on Saturday, 6th March, when ex-students will commemorate the founding of the College by Lady Jersey in 1888. "Jersey Day" is regularly observed by a reunion at the college. On Sunday, 7th March, at 3 p.m., the Moderator will conduct a Service of Thanksgiving at St. Stephen's Church, Sydney. On 9th March a Diamond Jubilee Ball, arranged by ex-students, will be held at the Wentworth. Saturday, 20th March, will be Parents and Friends' Day when a social afternoon will be enjoyed at the college.

The Committee, with the Moderator-General as Convener, charged with the responsibility of selecting delegates to represent our Church at the World Council of Churches at Amsterdam in August, has nominated Rev. T. McDougall (Rose Bay), and Rev. Alan Watson (Toorak), with Dr. Cumming Thom, (Principal of St. Andrew's College) and Rev. Ralph Blanchard
(Adelaide) as alternates.

Happy holidays have been spent at "Balquhain," Leslie Memorial Holiday Home for Ministers, Blackheath, by the families of Revs. A. Trafford Walker, C. Keir, G. F. Buckley, R. R. Martin, E. S. Robson and R. Gray. At present Rev. R. C. Lawton and family are there.
